So how does a former cop turned PI find a missing teenage boy, who has been kidnapped by a corporate billionaire, while dealing with his own feelings of guilt and loneliness over the murder of his family, all while keeping his canine's homicidal tendencies in check? Brains, guns, and fists combined with an intimate understanding of dog psychology.

As long as Max doesn't eat him first.

Needs new narrator asap

Story was interesting as I like the view point from Max as well as Gill. The narrator was reading this like it was a rom/com. Even in the dangerous parts where Amber’s life is in the balance he sounds like he’s singing Zippy Do Da.
At least Max’s thoughts were given a more serious tone.

excellent plot plan, many pla es to end, BUT twisted. Dog's POV appreciated.

Was told it is a "clean" book, but it is too graphic for middle schoolers and high school dog lovers.

Lots of action

I really enjoyed the story, the guy who does the narration was interesting. sometimes he talked really fast when he got excited, it definitely kept my attention so he's growing on me.
