An interesting back story for DCI Daley

The switch back and forth from present time to 1994 is probably easier on the page than in the ear. I was also disappointed in the foolish amount of temper shown by our “hero.” I may give this a rest for a while.

Have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series

Great mystery, Character stories are as interesting and entertaining as the crimes involved. Looking forward to the next addition, hope it will be soon.

Just as great the second time around!

This is by far my favorite detective series of all time, and I listen to a lot of detective series! The plot is complex, and David’s performance is brilliant. However my favorite aspect is the humor. I couldn’t just read the book. It has to be listened to! For me the enjoyment is magnified tenfold by David’s interpretation of the brilliant story! I enjoyed this entire series so much that I’m now listening to all of the books again.

Loved it, this one was a good one with a twist. As always I enjoyed the narrater very much as well.

Wanted to enjoy this book but!!

The Scottish accents were enjoyable and reminiscent but the story was very disappointing and I couldn't finish the book.
