The Retired S Ranked Adventurer : Volume II (Light Novel) (The Shatterfist Book 2), my twentieth read from author Wolfe Locke. A captivating, 5-hour 59-minute/347-page-turning, well-written read leaving you panting for more. “I received a complementery Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with The Retired S Ranked Adventurer : (Light Novel) Vol 4 high on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

A Four 1/2 star read from one of my favorite autho

There starting to be a lot more inconsistency and changes that don’t line up in the other books like the Arther is forget the past story’s.

The books good but the inconsistency.

This third installment of this entertaining series by Wolf Locke and James Falcon smoothly continues the tale of Sven and those around him. The story still flows well and easily draws you in. The authors seem to have a good vision of where they want to go with the series, and it shows with their ability to stay on track even when they add backstory.
Sierra Kline returns again as the narrator bringing her considerable talent and consistency.
It is really recommended that you enjoy the first two installments of this series before this one. You won’t enjoy this one nearly as much if you don’t.

Still well worth the listen.

I've given this series three books to get better, and it's failed spectacularly. I'd be happier if the mc died permanently. He's ridiculously stupid and optimistic, and they continue to do this troupe of so goody goody that he won't even kill things that live by killing others. Remembers traitors that SUCCESSFULLY killed him, but won't tell even those closes to him because he doesn't want to seem weak. Speaking of memory, can we pick whether he remembers something or not, and stop switching it up. Also he's a hypocrite saying he don't want revenge and that he don't want to be that type a guy, but then put a hit out on all those that killed one of theirs. I'm diametrically opposed to this mc and will be returning every book in this series.

I Really Tried
