good but not quite what I thought

it was a good book, but it could have been a straight how to write book, instead of rewriting your book, and I was hoping there were more tips about actually rewriting

Very step by step helpful.

I am a first time novel writer. The book is very helpful in a step by step way that works well for the early revision stage I am in.

Bad travels too slow

I was hoping to learn something about rewriting my novel, but it seems this author likes to talk more about his work than helping you rewrite yours.
