Great Story with an AMAZING Narrator!

I LOVE all of Colleen Coble's books and Devon O'Day is THE BEST NARRATOR! I always know which character is speaking. Great series too, you NEVER know who the bad guy is until the end. And the last book? WHOA! Didn't see that coming... AMAZING! THANK YOU LADIES!

Suspense in the unexpected

Touches on serious topics and the evil of greed and deceit. A heartfelt love story of faith and dedication to keep everyone safe and happy. Enjoy the action of the dogs.

Suspenseful & Refreshing

I like to read / listen to a wide variety of books. These stories were very good. I couldn't stop listening. I say the series is refreshing because I find that in some of the other stories, the love scenes are very vivid and drawn out. That's okay sometimes, but sometimes I don't want to hear all that. This was a fresh break from that. There is one thing I was disappointed with though... SPOILER ALERT ---
I didn't like that in the final story, the husband, Rob, was suddenly not dead and was portrayed as a corrupt / crooked person, after being proven to be a good man in previous stories. Where did that come from? Overall I enjoyed the series (a lot), but just wish Rob's character didn't have to be brought back to life and portrayed the way he was.
