Miss Eliza Cade is a lady in waiting. And waiting.

Because of a foolish mistake in her youth, she's not allowed ""out"" in Society until her three older sisters are wed. But while she's trying to be good, she keeps bumping elbows—and, more distressingly, lips— with notorious rake Harry Wright. Every moment she spends with him, she risks complete ruin.

The sensual passions he stirs in her are so wrong . . . but Eliza just can't resist Mr. Wright.

Somehow I missed the fact that this was a novella until I started it. In any case, this was cute. I enjoyed it. Narration was good.

Cute novella

I enjoyed this…it could easily be expanded into a beautiful sweeping novel of passion and love.

really sweet

An adorable quick listen. Enjoyed Henry’s and Eliza’s story and their attraction throughout the years. I would have loved the story to be a full novel. I highly recommend.

Adorable

If I hadn't paid out of pocket for this book, I would be returning it. The writing is juvenile and mediocre at best, and quite far-fetched at times. For instance, at a time in history when personal hygiene was lacking, there was likely not much toe sucking going on (gross). The narrator reads the entire book in a pouty doll voice, which became annoying to the point of distraction, and makes it hard to actually get into the story. For me this was wasted $$ and time

I regret this purchase
