Lauren Smith never fails!

Enjoyed this 1st book to this new series, capturing me as the League of Rogues did! I love how some of the characters from League of Rogues are tied in as well!! Cannot wait for the next book on Audibles!

I really enjoyed Kit and Suzannah's story!
Kit is set on revenge for being sent away for 7 years for something he didn't do. He set his mind on one thing but meets Suzannah and that all changes.
This was exciting and romantic, but also kept me guessing on what was going to happen. Really enjoyable book!
The narrator, Nathaniel Priestly, was outstanding. Very good with all of the different characters. He is new to me, and I'm looking forward to listening to mor÷e of his narrations as well as more of Lauren Smith's books. She's become one of my favorite historical romance authors.

Murder, Mystery and Romance. Another LS Hit

If only the other historical romance authors could write like Lauren Smith. She does not waste time on inner thoughts. Her characters dialogue tell the story and make it interesting for the listeners.
I can not wait for the other 7 books in this series to come out on audible.

Young man charged with crime he didn’t commit sentence to 7 years of hard labor in Australia. The young man, who was the new Earl, planned vengeance against his perpetrators with the help of his friends. Very good story. Fast pace. Good narration.
