And Eli Miller, an Amish widower, needs to learn how to cook for himself.

Class members share details of their disappointing lives, work to solve a mystery, and stir some romance into the pot. Suddenly, cooking classes at Heidi's house become life lessons...and their souls are healed one meal at a time.

Multi-characters story

I guess I prefer my stories to remain on 2 or 3 main characters, and this series has multiple characters taking the spotlight. Too hard for me to keep track of, liked the story and the performance though.

Uplifting

Great story line. Feel good book. Interesting no mention of deacons or bishops. in regards to cooking classes.

Sweet story

I loved the story of the lives of the people in the cooking class . Everyone was so different. I enjoy the story also having life lessons people need to learn .

Feels Unfinished

Decent storyline but without giving out much detail around the story - it needed an epilogue. Feels unfinished and I need to know how things wrap up with the characters. I'm not giving up hope and I will listen to book 2.
