Please excuse my bad english, but I have to say something important about this book. Since I was sick one year ago I embarque on a journey of discovery, discovery that another life was possible. I quit my job and I am opening up a company, discovering a new way of life outside and whitin. why does this metter?

I know many of us are doing this jorney, specially the ones that ended up reading this comment. So I tell you, of all the books you can read this is the basis, this is the Pillar. Even if you hate self help (as I do) you will find that you can not move forward in life if you haven set your basis right, your pillar, yourself.

Mainly, this book talks about accepting yourself and you capacity to solve the problems of life. It tells you step on how to acchive this.

Personally, I dont understand how teachers, psicologists, and people in general could have miss this teaching, that is the most fundamental teaching of all. Working in your self esteem is what will give you the strenght and purpose to fullfill your dreams, without it, you are very likely to make your self fail.

If you are expecting this book to be a fun read like one of the books by authors like Brenè Brown- this isn’t the right book for you.Not suggesting by any means that I dislike her theories.

If however you are ready to take some pain in doing the exercises mentioned in the book the size pillars of self esteem, I would highly recommend this book. The concepts mentioned in this book are extremely simply yet so powerful. This might be one of the best books I have read, no wonder it appears as one of the must read books on self esteem.
The author narrates concepts in precise language with no BS. I had to read this book in parts to be able to keep doing the exercises mentioned. I would not only recommend this books to people who are struggling to understand esteem but to everyone.

Would recommend this book to anybody, honestly. Some people THINK they know what self-esteem is but this book dissects it. Definitely going to relisten to this book in a few months to catch new things I missed the first time around.
