Yet when the killer leaves a frightening clue - a creepy snowman, wearing a leather jacket and eating a peppermint candy cane, left in front of her cabin - Sarah begins to suspect Conrad Spencer, the new detective in town, who is pursuing a murderer of his own. Soon it becomes obvious that the sleuths would have to join forces in order to catch the killer. Sarah and Conrad must put their tragic pasts behind them and find out who's after her before the trail becomes frozen.

The Snowman Killer

Sarah gives up her job as a detective in LA to become a mystery writer. She moves to Alaska to have a fresh start and focus on her writing. Everything is fine until she finds herself in the middle of a mystery... basically someone is acting out her latest murder mystery and she just may end up being the victim if she doesn’t solve it before it’s to late.

Definitely a great start to a new cozy mystery series. While the narration was well done, I wasn’t a fan of a few of the different character voices.

Great Cozy Read

Very quick, entertaining, cozy mystery! Loved the setting, the story, and characters. The end felt a bit rushed, but still enjoyed the story. The narrator has a great voice. and enjoyed listening to this story. Sheree had great tone and pacing, and brought each character to life. Recommended if you're a fan of cozy mysteries!

Sometimes I liked the narrator's voice and other times it got a little too grating.
