The Soccer Field Is Empty is the story of teen love, steamy romance, friendship, loyalty, understanding, and ancient prejudice. Here is a tale that breaks the stereotypes of the ignorant and peers into the soul of two boys who want what we all want; to love and be loved.

The story of Mark and Taylor, two 16-year-old high school athletes, is a tale of love and happiness torn asunder by a world that understands too late.

I wish the people were there for me when I was a teenager. I myself attempted to kill my self 3 different times as a youth an teen an young adult. all because of my being gay an the abuse I was going through. now at 61 I find myself once again feeling as I did then but know that killing myself only hurts the ones you love an love you. not the ones hurting you.

Poorly written on a super sensitive topic.
I hate this book.

Very poor choice of topics considering the suicidal thoughts of LGBTLQ youth.
