Narration is supreme!

You need a good story to make an enjoyable book, and this one is. But to make an enjoyable audiobook, the narrator makes it happen. Bradford Hastings and his voice for each character made The Southern Criminal come alive. Can’t wait to listen to the third in the series.

Great book series for lawyers if you like courtroom dramas

The narrator is excellent and gives life to the different characters’ voices. I’m a lawyer, and I really enjoy this series for the courtroom aspect and the setting of South Carolina (since I don’t know a lot about the place).

Loving this Series

I'm so glad I stumbled onto this series. I don't always enjoy legal thrillers, but I do love the "Lincoln Lawyer" series and the "Joe Dillard" series that takes place in Johnson City, TN. This series has the same sort of feel to it, and I'm totally loving it. It's got the same touch of southern noir as Joe Dillard since this lawyer, Joe Hennessey, is based in SC. The locations are great, and his love of the area is wonderful. But it's the characters that make this such an enjoyable listen for me; great characters and superb story lines with just the right pacing.

This book takes so many twist and turn you don’t want to put it down

I loved the way it kept me engaged and my mind did not wander! Love the narrator the most!!!

Loved it all! Can’t wait to start reading book 3 and Joes adventures and legal cases.
