Fantastic story, fantastic deliverence

This was fun to listen to. The story of Joseph is esp moving. I Love the book!

Excellent Chronological Summary

I’m an ordained pastor and founder of Pointless Thorns Ministries. I believe The Story is an excellent chronological summary of the Bible. I think the audio version of this book made it truly come to life, with great sound effects and background music; in addition, the voice actors did well in their performances. I’d recommend this book to youth who lack understanding of the Bible- especially those between 12-17 years of age. This should help beginners to understand the main message (or story), which will help them to better study the depth beyond the surface within the Bible. Apostle Paul would refer to this as spiritual milk. There’s nothing wrong with spiritual milk; however, we must strive to grow and transition to meat. May this book bless the readers/hearers and inspire them to study GOD’s Word for deeper revelation and spiritual wisdom. Amen.

Awesome performance

I enjoyed every part of "The Story". The narration was excellent and I loved the background music. It really gave a feeling of being there. I did miss some familiar parts of the Bible that were not included, but overall it was very, very well done. Take the time to listen, you will be glad that you did.

This iteration of the Bible was spot on! Zondervan did exactly what they claimed—put the Bible in a story format that is an absolute treasure to listen to. From the narration to the added commentary and the background musical sound effects, this audio production is peerless. Highly recommended!!
