Kallan Temple was new in Cincinnati and looking for a fresh start. His cousin Mac convinced him that this was the place to start again. Having spent his entire life in Dickinson, North Dakota, Kallan was ready for something new. Mac mentioned a friend Kallan would hit it off with, but after a particularly ill-timed snub, Kallan was fairly sure Noa was the last person in Cincinnati he ever wanted to date. Little does he know that Fate has other plans, and the man he considers ill-mannered and mean will become his protector and forever love.
Noa Benson is a bear shifter and runs the door at Club Zephyr. He considers himself a man of taste, and he knows the type of clientele the club needs to be successful. He knows the type of man he likes, and he makes no apologies for it. He’s not a man used to making apologies of any kind. When he finally meets Kallan Temple, he is stuck by the dazzling beauty of the man and struggles with how to climb out of the hole he dug for himself. Lucky for Noa, fate is never wrong, and always finds a way to convince a suspicious mate.
