It's time for Ellie to return home and rediscover the past she left behind....

After a tough breakup, Ellie returns to the only place she's ever really felt at home - the coastal town of Sanderson Bay. A year later, she's living her dream, brewing delicious artisan teas and selling them at her very own café. And when the mysterious and brooding Ben walks into her tearoom, Ellie finally dares to dream of true love. But then her ex shows up in the Bay, and just as Ellie discovers some tragic truths about her family's past, she learns Ben might be hiding an unwelcome secret of his own....

Can Ellie let go of her past and brave a future with Ben?

I had trouble understanding the narrator at times and it was pretty predictable but who doesn’t enjoy a happy ending!

Great romance

How to describe this book? If the book/movie, Chocolat, was about a tea shop owner, rather than a chocolatier, and took place in an English coastal town of present day versus a 1950s French village.

Ate it up with toast and tea, naturally.

Excellent narrative performance by York native Laura Brydon.

Perfect Cozy Tea Read

I enjoyed this story and the narration was great as well! I love the main character's unique voice!

Lovely Story

I just had to stop listening. I even lost track of the storyline because Laura Brydon's voice was ghoulish while pretending to be a man & cartoonish when speaking for a woman. She mispronounces words, says "says" to rhyme with "hays" instead of "says". She attempted to imitate someone from New Jersey which absolutely made my skin crawl. I will never buy another book narrated by her.

Couldn't take the nauseating voice any longer
