Complex story, pay attention

Really enjoyed the complexity of this story - keeping track of all the family characters was a challenge for me, but loved it.

Generations of family

I loved this story and the fact that it included history of Australia, of the war and of life now.

All can say without giving any of it away is WoW! Great story, well developed characters and more surprise twists than any book I've listen to this year. 5 Stars all the way!!

One of the best mystery novels I've ever read. Highly recommend!!

This mystery novel is very complex and compelling. At first it was confusing because there are so many characters involved and I had to get a notepad and write things down to keep people straight - but if you stick with it I think you won't regret it and will find it very satisfying. It reminds me of Where the Crawdads Sing.

Would love to see more from Chris Hammer

I enjoyed the two books available on Audible-- Scrublands and The Tilt, but there is a book released in 2023 called either The Seven or Cover the Bones that is not available. The books I have listened to are well written, interesting, suspenseful and take u to Australia. Please make more of his books available.
