Welcome to The Twelve Ghosts of Valentine's Day - 12 truly incredible strange but true stories from the files of Tom Slemen, England's premier expert on the supernatural. With romance and Valentine's Day as a backdrop, hear these dozen tales about ghosts, witches and a variety of weird entities, as well as unearthly and often cruel twists of fate in times and places that range from Liverpool, to London, from 1960s San Francisco and the heart of England's countryside in modern times as well as the Victorian era. Some of these tales will terrify, and some will make you shudder and haunt your dreams, but some will also melt even the hardest heart! Is your heart brave enough to take up the challenge?

I love all Tom Slemen books but this one is one of my favs, mainly because he uses my favorite narrator, Norman Gilligan. The stories are all excellent. I’ve probably listened to it 10-12 times. Mr. Gilligan’s voice is so relaxing to me, I listen to it when I can’t sleep. It really does help me fall asleep— not because it’s boring, but because it’s soothing. Love it!

This is another fascinating collection of strange and unusual tales related to Valentine's Day. Author Tom Slemen's meticulous research and gifted storytelling skills are on display here. A few of the tales were published in other editions of his works. Some are heartbreaking, heartwarming, some chilling and others just strange and unusual. I read this book using immersion reading while listening to the audiobook. The narrator, Norman Giligan was wonderful, imparting his natural British accent to this great collection of tales. He should narrate all of the books.
