Wonderful and horrible all in one

Absolutely worth your time! Would make a great movie. Certainly there is a situation happening just like this somewhere in the world

Loved it

Enjoyed the unique twist on cults and family bond. Very current. The climax went too fast and the ending felt rushed. But I might be selfish and just wanted more.

Interesting!

This book was very wild but interesting and keeps you on the edge. First time reading a book by this author and it kept me engaged to the very end. There was so much happening and you had to pay attention in order to take into account what was truly happening in the story. It was off the wall crazy at times and not to mention showcased people with their outrageous views and how they can so blindly follow archaic methods. I certainly will look forward to seeing more from this author in the future.

If I could give this book zero stars, I would. What a waste of time. It had so much potential. I almost stopped listening after the first couple of chapters but I gave it try and to its credit it picked up. But the main character is so unlikable and not in a good way. Not in the way where you’re like I hate this person but damn they’re cunning. I hated her because she was soooo stupid. She walked right into her own demise. The ending was rushed and thank god because we spent most of the book talking about her relationship with her father and how she couldn’t process what was happening. Like, it’s a cult. You know that. God this book was unbearable. And don’t even get me started on Lily’s message and how she blatantly ignored it. Anyway, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LISTEN OF READ THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE IRRITATED. I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS. BUT WOW DID THIS SUCK.

Long, Boring, Awful

So much of this book could have been cut out. It’s repetitive and not even in a gripping way. Literally a waste of time to even start. Don’t waste your money
