i loved it, but was disappointed by the way things went. i wanted the two main characters to interact more

Solid Military Combat; Good Science; Lacking Diplomacy

The combat was definitely the high point of the novel along with some intriguing scientific ideas; however, the intrigue of and believability of the diplomacy sections was lacking at points. Overall though worth the read!
