The story

I fell in love with the characters right away. If you like steam punk, action and mystery, then this series is for you. There’s a spin on Dr.Hyde and Frankenstein’s monster characters. The storyline was well thought out and also the characters. You love some and hate some, and not sure about a couple. You will journey beneath the seas, run through jungles, and soar through skies.

Good series.

Really liked the blend of tales, Jekyll and Hyde, invisible man, Hunchback of Notre Dame... into one story.

Great listen. Loved this 4 book series. Checks all the boxes.

I listen to audible to escape into new worlds, lose myself for a while and go on a little adventure. This audible did just that. The character narration of this book was excellent and the characters came alive. The book was well written and you can’t help but respect the author in his ability to bring this steampunk world to life in setting the stage for the characters to conduct their adventures. You know a book is good when you find yourself already missing the characters before listening to the end of the last book.

I wouldn’t listen to the high-brow literary critics, because it is most certain that none of them has, or could write a book this well thought out. As far as other reviews saying this was a book for children, I would argue that this world needs a little whimsy and creativity and the most intelligent among us would enjoy this daring little coming of age spy versus spy steampunk adventure. It’s just fun. This is my first Audible review. I got all four books for one credit. A great deal. Give it a listen.

What an exciting series!!!

The story was great and enjoyable from start to finish. As for the narrative most excellent. I will look for other books by this author and and narrator.
