Loved it. Was sad when it was over. Just as good as "The Legacy."

First book in a long time where I couldn’t wait til the next time I could listen.

loved the story line. fascinating to see the division of classes and the injustices that arose from that situation.I would recommend this book highly.

Hard to follow but worth it!

At first I found this book hard to follow. Lots of unexpected flashbacks. Probably would have been easier had I been reading rather than listening. I would like to have known more background about the Vicar’s wife earlier in the character’s introduction. Overall I really enjoyed this one.
