Fantastic!!

I’m in love with this series!! I absolutely love the writer and narrator!! I can’t wait to hear the next one!!

decent book

and overall good listen. what I appreciate about it is that the language is clean. the reader is certainly no Grover Gardner.

The ending

Although I really liked it, sometimes it felt painfully slow in mid chapters w/out giving anything new. Repetitive ….just felt like he was repeating the same thing as chapter before. NOT the whole book. I loved the story itself.

Entertaining, but….

I enjoy legal thriller series and this one does have some appeal. Interesting plot, but the dialogue/narration comes across as a bit stiff and unnatural. The constant use of first names of characters, especially during the trials, It gives it a juvenile feel. Main character is a little too plastic.

All that said, I keep listening and will probably listen to future books.

Slow as Christmas!

The story eventually picked up and had some nice twists and turns. But man was it slow to start!
