A most interesting period in history

Captivating History's book on Queen Victoria was a pleasure to listen too from first to the end. It was very informative describing the history during Victoria's reign.

Challenges in Becoming one of the youngest Queens

It seamlessly introduces and weaves a story around the cast of characters that vie for Victoria's attention. It's a blend of soap opera with a splash of hIstory. Looking forward to the Masterpiece rendition.

This was written very well.

Victoria really is alive in this book. I love the history of that period, and so many facts come across that I did not know. Just delightful!

This book was made for anyone who loves history. It brings life to Victoria. It also blows away everything we thought about Queen Victoria. She was definitely not Victorian.

It also paints a picture of Victoria as a selfish, self-indulgent character who is nonetheless sympathetic and likable despite her tendency toward the dramatic. Recommended for history buffs, Victoria fans, and those who like a good nonfiction audiobook.
