If you want to listen to a sweet flirty friendship which unfolds because a love relationship between them is forbidden but they just can’t stay away.. then look no further you’ve found your next entertaining listen. If you want to love and respect two characters because they really really try to stay away from each other but really really can’t help failing and falling.. then one click this well-written sweet love story. I do love a bad bad boy.. but sometimes it’s really nice to listen to a good boy who waited two years for a second-chance with the right woman. I love a woman who knows what she wants and Reese is one-hundred percent certain she wants Holden and have a second-chance to lose her virginity to him. Their Baseball fuelled relationship has delicious stepping-stones and just the right amount of waiting where ‘off-limits’ slowly bends, crosses lines and nicely leads to happily ever afters. There’s hurt and character growth in there too as a daughter tries to forgive and get to know her absentee Father and his new pregnant wife.

Worth a credit? When I want a feel-good romance with chemistry, sex, swoons, sighs, smiles and a solid low-to-no angst story then there’s no-one better to give me what I’m looking for than Lauren Blakely.. so yes, this story is definitely worth a credit.

Hooked from the first chapter!

A connection like theirs is rare and they both knew it.  Sadly, it just wasn't their time, because they each still had some growing to do in their careers. A chance meeting at a party years later proves just how strong of a connection they have. With lines like this, "Good. That's how you should be kissed so you don't forget how it feels when my lips touch you." My god, this was the swooniest book ever! I fell in love with Holden and Reese and I really think you all will too!
Can we talk about how amazing Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke were in this book? I just loved their performances in this book.
