Pleasantly surprised on how much I loved this book

I laughed, I cried, and I could not wait to hear what adventure was next. I absolutely loved this book.

Adoption, family, live, loss

Like the Steel Magnolias movie references in the book, this is a tale of family that will make you laugh and cry. It is a road trip through Texas as a retirement trip for 2 old sassy ladies, a getting to know each other for an adoptee and her birth family, a punishment for a 16 year old, and a chance to fall in love for the only man on the trip. Read it for all the feels. The narrator does a great job.

Another unique story line

I don't know how Carolyn does it but this is another unique story line. Who ever heard of a road trip around Texas? And with biological relatives you never met. One thing you can count on is strong, quirky women.

My new favorite author

This is my second book of here . I think I’m about to listen to them all. Easy enjoyable. Laugh out loud.
