Exceptional.

Every story a gem. The author drops you into his characters' minds so deftly that you don't even notice. You emerge with your imagination and empathy stretched. I mean what else do we read fiction for?

Insufferable

Self-important, pointless, and utterly unfinishable. No wonder it only has 118 ratings. It's a good thing I can't return it so I can warn the rest of you to steer clear. What a waste of time and energy.
