Algeria post colonialism is a very tricky place and this book gets into the many problems facing a couple of honest officials as they battle corruption and greed and geopolitics and family divisions.

Stunning Sequel

This is an amazing book. I loved the continuation of these characters and the complicated history of Algeria. The audiobook narration is genius.
