Home is where the heart is. That’s what I was taught. Until I met her....

We’ve been traveling all over the country, recruiting new members for our club. Before we call it quits, we make a pitstop in Las Vegas. I’m owed a debt, and I’ve come to collect.

It’s been awhile since I spoke to the president of the Ruthless Kings. And I’m calling in my marker. I figured I’d ask for cash, maybe a few new recruits, arms-dealer networks, but he said no. That’s fine.

But then I set my sights on her. A blonde bombshell. Yeah, she’s mine. And after I have her, Reaper and I will call it even. We are only here for a few days. Time is not on my side to whisk her away. There are a few problems.

I’ve learned every good thing comes with its own challenges. And she’s a good thing. She’s shy, bashful, and won’t let me near her. And the Ruthless Kings are getting in my way. But I’m not leaving without her. It’s a good thing I don’t.

Because another man enters the picture, one that she seems terrified of, and I don’t like to see those doe eyes scared. I’ll slay her dragons and make sure she lives the fairy-tale she’s always wanted.

It’s time take to take my heart home.

In Portland.

She might have been my target, but she ended up marking me.

This book has me up and down as to whether I liked it or not.
Overall it was a good story, but has alot of holes and rushed through so fast at some places and painfully slow in others. But the worst part was the male narration. His parts all sounded like they were drunk, high, or just pervy.

He completely missed the persona of the characters. This is supposed to be an current day MC book and lead was miscast as a 50's James Stewart.

Male Narration ruined it.

I don't know how K. L. Savage does it and picks the perfect narrators for every story. Raven Rose and Leo Barnabas were amazing and I loved this book brought to life. Thrasher thought that coming back from the sand box was his biggest battle but when he see Delilah, Reaper's sister, he knows that he will do anything to possess her. I loved this book and I can't wait for more from this MC. I need to know what happens next. I love these authors so much they are simply amazing!!!

What a Ride!!!

I didn't realize the main male character was a veteran when I started it. I work in mental health with SUD and have always had a respect for those who serve. I don't think there is enough awareness of what our veterans have survived and how it impacts them. Respect to the author for making that aspect important. I will say I kept waiting for something to happen with the storyline of the female character's past and our hero to get a chance to fight her demons like she soothes his so that was a little disappointing. Almost felt like a cliffhanger until it was just quickly "dismissed" so to speak almost an afterthought. Not my favorite male voice actor, he did well with expression but I just prefer the deeper, growls alpha male voice. That's just personal preference I suppose.

Leo and Raven did an incredible job narrating and giving Thrasher and Delilah their voices. Thrasher has a very traumatic event in his past that still affects him to this day. You can feel the emotions that Leo puts into narrating Thrasher, especially the traumatic event in his past. Leo made me laugh and smile with some of his other voice narrations, especially the drunk girls and Uber scene. Delilah herself, has also had a traumatic event in her past, one where she almost died. She just wants to her live her life and focus on her happiness and future. Raven uses her voice to really spotlight the character development for Delilah in the best ways. She brings out the happiness and playfulness that Thrasher brings out in Delilah. Leo brings out the seriousness of Thrasher, the emotions he deals with daily and his teasing nature that he develops with Delilah. I had an amazing time listening to Thrasher and Delilah’s story! It was emotional, funny, serious and steamy!

Thrasher is a great beginning to this new series!
