A pining prince needs: A second chance at love.

Prince Julius has only ever wanted one man. Raised alongside Prince Dante of Thedes, the two were inseparable until their unspoken mutual attraction ignited into a single passionate encounter. Convinced that it ruined their friendship, Julius retreated to his duties in Rosavia, where he daydreams of another chance to win Dante’s heart.

After four years apart, fate brings Prince Julius back to Thedes. He offers Dante a coveted invitation: Return to the Rosavian palace for 10 days, and be his plus-one to the Royal Ball of the century. Before long, they realize one night of passion wasn’t enough, and they can’t imagine losing each other again.

As the clock ticks down to the ball, Julius catches wind of Dante’s family meddling, and he must decide if their feelings are real or if they’ve both been played. Were they always meant for each other, or is it all an illusion that will melt away at midnight?

Welcome to the tiny European country of Rosavia, where roses ramble over alpine slopes and princes fall for the men of their dreams. Every Rosavia Royals book happens simultaneously, so books can be listened to on their own, or in any order...but keep an eye out for familiar faces around the palace!

Part of the Rosavia Royals universe, 'Throne Together' tells the story of Rosavian Prince Julius and Prince Dante from neighboring country Thedis. The Princes spent years attending school together. They had one sexual encounter in university but have been apart for years. Will the upcoming Rosavian Anniversary Ball be their second chance at being together?

This book features a mutually pining slow-burn, with a helping of royalty related angst. If you've read other books in this universe, you'll recognize the cameos by other royals, newspaper reporters and rescue cats. These characters make a nice tie-in for fans of the entire series. Zoe Dawn delivers a great tale of choosing love over duty with this steamy friends-to-lovers book.

I've loved every book I've listened to by Kieran Flitton. His performance here is excellent as well. His voice acting immerses the listener into the story completely.

Best friends to lovers royally done. I enjoyed this narrator.

I loved how Julius and Dante’s friendship was so beautifully described in the prologue and how they recapture that history and depth as they acknowledge the love they have for each other.  They have been separated for four years through a misunderstanding and now they find themselves having a second chance at friendship and love.  They communicated and found their own way despite interfering family members.

Navigating the Rosavian palace and all the relatives on both sides of the family kept them really busy.  The annoying reporter added another layer of confusion for them to work around. This is a low angst story and with a feel good story-line and a HEA for our princes.

This is the third book in a five book series of concurrent stories and incorporates the same family members. This story occurs over a two week time-frame and can be read as a stand-alone story.

I love this second chance story for Dante and Julius! I love this slow burn as these two get to have their second chance at love. Kieran Flitton does an absolutely fabulous job with this narration. I can't get over how amazing he does the voices and how hr brings this story to life. I just love listening to the books he narrates.

Beautiful second chance!

I have so enjoyed every book in the Rosavia Royals set! This one was no exception. I loved Jules and Danny's book! I was ready to kill Danny's father though at one point. OMG! This story had some real tear-jerking moments but it was worth it. And I have really come to enjoy Kieran Flitton's narrating. I had never heard of him before this series and now he is on my list of favorite audiobook narrators. Highly recommend these stories!

I especially love stories about childhood best friends to lovers and this is even better since they are both royal princes! I appreciated the fact that there were no misunderstandings about protocol and whatnot. They both were raised royally and as a result understood the importance of duty that is lacking in most royal romance pairings.

Other things that I enjoyed in the book would be the lower level of angst, giving more sweetness to the story, and the excellent narration that was super sexy. The accents for both princes were different and distinctive to note who was speaking - - which is important in single narration of a dual POV book. The only thing that I would see as "room for improvement" is the fact that there is a little bit of going back to the past that was not easy to discern in audio. I think that it would have been easier to understand that timing difference when reading it in print. But that aside, I felt listening to it by this great narrator added a lot to the story.

I think this Rosavia Royals series is a clever concept and have enjoyed several of the books already. They can be read in any order and as stand alones. But I can see that they would be really excellent to read in order one right after another for maximum enjoyment. I recommend these good stories in a clever series.
