Starborn Academy is a place that is supposed to change the lives of every young mage who crosses its threshold. With up to 5,000 young, impressionable mages passing through its halls each year, it's a hub for learning spells and skills that can shape or shatter the world.

However, within the seemingly safe walls of Starborn, a sinister presence also dwells. Fiends, insidious creatures that thrive on the very essence of mages, are not only increasing in number but also boldness.

With tensions rising, accidents happening, and fiends around every corner - death isn't just possible; it's inevitable.

Tom has to learn quickly that if he wants to survive, he will need to keep his friends close and make unlikely allies with his enemies. Coming together is the only way to survive, but can they put their differences aside and fight?

The narrator

Shane did a good job on voicing the characters. Would have liked a bit more of a pause inbetween Toms narrative and Liams narrative because sometimes it went to fast which through me off but not bad enough to cause loss of story line. Keep up the good work Shane. For the story, would have liked a bit more of a mystery on the bad guy, but besides that interesting story line and will be listening to more.
