A missing husband. A reality dating experiment. A marriage built by an algorithm.

I wake up to find my husband gone.
Not my real husband.
My algorithmic husband.

The man I was matched with on a high-stakes reality dating show, where strangers marry at first meeting, live together for thirty days, and compete for life-changing prize money—all under constant surveillance.

Jonas wasn’t supposed to disappear.

Not without a goodbye.
Not after the vows.
Not after the intimacy that felt uncomfortably real.

Production claims he quit.
No explanation. No warning. No contact.

Just a vanished groom and a contract that says I’m still married.

As the cameras keep rolling, cracks form in the marriage experiment, the matching algorithm, and the story I’m being fed. Conflicting footage. Edited conversations. Rules that shift without notice.

The more questions I ask, the more resistance I face—from producers, handlers, and the system that paired us in the first place.

Because Jonas didn’t just leave.

He was removed.

And if I push too hard to find him, I may be next.

I really don’t watch reality TV, except for music competitions like The Voice, but this book drew me in and kept me hooked until the very end. I soon became invested in both the characters and storyline. Bravo to the author.

The AI was better than most except on a few cringe worthy pronunciations of contractions and tense of words spelled the same way but pronounced differently. This seems to be a common problem with all AI.

This book draws you in and keeps you to the very end.

Till Death is an excellent thriller based upon a new reality show involving four couples and their off screen producers. It primarily follows Jonas and Scarlett who are flawed individuals being manipulated by the show's producers and their legal contracts. The producers are unethical and focus on causing maximum emotional drama from these vulnerable contestants during filming. This intriguing and well written audio book involves addiction, manipulation of sobriety, victimization, threats, coercion, and plot twists. I recommend this audio book for its suspense and creativity.

Excellent Thriller

The story was not even remotely believable. Not a soul on the planet would drink that much “juice” per day and not taste the alcohol. Worse, virtual voice completely ruined the entire story. When are these authors going to realize how detrimental it is to use them? Epilogue was too preachy. Can’t get these hours back. But I listened to help me fall asleep and it worked. Lol.

Virtual voice ruined it.
