It's the year 2022. Dani Peterson has been walking in the west of Ireland, conducting historical research for her dissertation. But when she seeks shelter from a storm in Aideen O’Brien’s car, she gets more history than she bargained for.

Their boss is a man from 2253 named Charles Burke, who says his mission is to save the future. But after perilous trips to 1751 and 2253, Dani and Aideen discover that Charles is not the savior he claims to be. Together with their new friend Orla—a 12-year-old girl with the wisdom of a 62 year-old woman—they must find a way to stop him.

Interesting concepts on time travel

Linda Jones the narrator is great as always. She really brings the book to life. Also, the concepts introduced in this time travel book. I have never seen anywhere else so the ideas are interesting and I am very interested in listening to the next book in the series. It makes me wonder where these author were. This author comes up with these ideas .If you like time travel scenarios, this one is quite unique and entertaining. Highly recommended!

Liked the romance and time travel, but the time travel seemed repetitious in the mechanics.

The brilliant plan at the very end seemed problematic.

The story was a really good adventure! There was a 'hard to stomach ' violent scene. But over all, it depicts the intelligence and heart of women.
