Adam Faramond, Earl of Rothbury, needs to find a wife -immediately! - or his beloved grandmother swears she'll leave him penniless. But Adam, an unrepentant rake, would only renounce a life of scandalous pleasure for one woman, the woman he's lusted after - and loved - for years. It's rather unfortunate, then, that Miss Charlotte Greene, a shy but beautiful blonde of impeccable manners and breeding, would never consent to be the blushing bride of a rogue...or so he thinks.
But Charlotte believes that the earl, the only man whose touch leaves her trembling with desire, would never want a woman like her. Weary of her wallflower ways, Charlotte decides a friendship with the earl just might give her the excitement she desires. Keeping their true feelings hidden, she and Adam plan a sham ceremony to placate the dowager. But when the "marriage" of convenience takes an unexpected turn, will Charlotte and her wicked earl finally reveal their irresistible, unforgettable love - and delight in a lifetime of passion?

After finishing House of Rohan series by Anne Stuart and enduring all forms of misery and emotional torture, this book was like a breath of fresh air, pure joy.
I used the credit to purchase this book and did not regret it, would definitely recommend it!
Delightful lighthearted romance

Worth a credit? Mmmmm. it's one of those "I enjoyed it but...." books - its 8.5 hrs long and there are loads of books out there that are much longer and even more enjoyable so, in answer to the question, yes I'm happy I spent the credit and don't regret it at all but if you're short on credits then you could Wish List it and wait until it's on sale.
Ahhhh....... love can conquer all

Where does To Wed a Wicked Earl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I've listened to over 100 books and this is one of my top 10 which says alot. What other book might you compare To Wed a Wicked Earl to and why?
It was fun, loving without too much sex and the story was easy to follow like Jennifer Cruise book Bet Me.What does Christine Rendel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator was good. She wasn't boring and her voice fluctuated at the right moments. While I do use books to go to sleep it's the good narrators that allow that and plus when it's a good narrator I go back to the last thing I remembered while if the narrators voice was irritating and boring I immediately skip to the last chapter and hope that I can return the book. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I wouldn't say it moved me but one of my favorite parts was their reaction to their first kiss.Any additional comments?
I really like this historical romance book. The story was good even if predictable, it was sexy but not sleazy and the story line was seamless. The characters are well done by the narrator and makes you wish for a sequel. Even if there are no sequels this book was good enough to make me look at reading or listening to the author more often.Better Than Expected

Good premise but needs tighter writing/logic check
