Tormented Royal

I got drawn into the book fast. Octavia never planned on going back to her hometown. With her father's death, she had to, though.

The title says it all…Tormented Royal

Definitely a darker story. I almost stopped listening since a few things in here are not my cup of tea. But all of a sudden I start to see a mystery coming out. Bits and pieces of Information are given to Octavia and us by proxy. Now I am incessantly trying to figure out WHAT is going in in this town!

I easily was drawn into the life of Octavia. I really felt for her and hated those boys and her cousin. Some of that changed as the story moved along and I got a few answers. Thank goodness Octavia seems strong and she does have incentive to just not run away.

I did listen to this on audio. This one has the luck of quite a few narrators portraying the characters. Each one did an amazing job getting me to understand and feel for their character. Well done! Next Please!

Amazing

I Love the beginning of this series. After a tragic event Octavia returns to echos cove where she was born . Where she had a relationship with the men who are now wanting to get rid of her. Not only that but she finds herself being stalked and almost assaulted . This book was just brilliant can’t wait for the next one. The narrators did an amazing job portraying the characters.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy this series. I read it first and decided that do a reread this week. The MFC has so much strength trying to deal with everything going on. I do think she should have punched other people more cuz there was a handful that really needed it. I would recommend this if you are ok with the TW and bully mafia Academy setting.

Great start to this series. Narration gives life to this audiobook series!
Heather Firth is the perfect choice to narrate this series. I love her voice and it suits this NA story! Blake Lockheart, Gideon Frost and Gregory Salinas are some of my favorite narrators and I always jump on the opportunity to listen to books they narrate. David Black is totally new to me and he is now on my radar of new voices to listen to!! All of these talented voice actors helped elevate this book.

I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the books in the series and seeing where this storyline goes.

This is a steamy NA romance with a few dark twists and possible why choose in the making!

Loved Octavia (Vee) and Indie!! Their friendship is my favorite part of this book!!
