Cloudsoar City is a place for crouching tigers and hidden dragons. It is a place where all species, be it beasts, humans, demons, or spirits, come to seek out a better life.

In this city, one has to fight to gain what they want and oppose or succumb to a faction of the princes that compete for the throne. Intrigues and selfish desires alleviated their strength, but to navigate through these schemes one needs an astute mind and a ruthless personality.

Luo Xiao appeared in Cloudsoar City together with Jiang Yao, ready to experience what big city life was like, only to realize that not everything that shines was gold.

Attending the Cloudsoar Royal Academy, Luo Xiao finds himself caught up in the fight for the throne. He finds people who wish to use him for their own benefits, but among these people, he also finds warmth and friendship.

Slowly he understands that if he wishes to be by Jiang Yao's side, he cannot stay as a silent and naive young man. However, will the change in his personality be for the better or for the worse?

A reading of favorites

I read the books. Then I found the audible of book one and listened to it and, of course, had to read book 2 again afterwards. Then audible offered book 2, so, I purchased it and then listened to book one again and filled up with book 2. Never enough, a sweet slow falling in love, in the books and for me too! I will, of course, be waiting for book 3, so I can read and listen to more. Please hurry, I am old and impatience.

Delightful soft romance

The story and characters are rather sweet. The only drawback is I feel the story loses luster in the translation from languages as the prose is a bit plain.

captivating relationship

what captivating me the most is how their relationship grew. been patient with eachother and undoubtedly trusting eachother. the demon prince indeed is a strong person but his actions towards lousha is so sweet and gentle.

The voice acting

The story is easy to follow and the narrator is so funny when he try to do a scream in the younger voice😹

The narrators voice just made the story that much better

there is nothing that I disliked about this. I thought it was a great story with great narration.
