Toby Grant spends his days working for a digital marketing agency and his nights stressing about how unfair life is for his generation. With a 30th birthday only months away and his finances approaching meltdown, it’s fair to say Toby isn’t a happy millennial. His parents’ generation had it so much easier...or did they?

After a series of rather unfortunate events, Toby is offered an opportunity to discover exactly what life was like for his parents’ generation, courtesy of a journey back in time to 1969.

However, life in pre-decimal Britain isn’t quite as simple as Toby envisaged. And neither, as it transpires, is time travel.

Wrapped up - left with a great tease, however, it felt like a complete story. Great job.

Rich mixture of simple and complex stories of human relationships. Believable characters that develop and learn about what is most important in life. Paints a good picture of life in 1960’s England vs our current 21st century experience. Mechanism of time travel not really covered, but story really does not need it. The problems laid out about what is left behind vs. what can be gained by going back in time are explored thoroughly. Well written. Narration demonstrated various British dialects in male and female voices. Well done. Loved how this story tied into 86‘ Fix story, pleasant surprise.
