A Fun Read

This is a great book. The characters are convincing and fit the unusual world they live in.

The detail and how I was able to visualize every scene

No improvements necessary. First read at 15 years old, currently 34 and I’m getting serious nostalgia vibes.

Must read! Most entertaining vampire fantasy book series I have had the pleasure of discovering! The characters are well developed and so interesting.

I don't understand how overlooked this series is.

I'd say it's a better story than most mainstream works. After years, I have the pleasure to rediscovered the saga here. Although, I don't remember young Darren to be this unlikeable. Most of the time, he is acting like a brat, and a really stupid one at that. I don't understand where Larten takes such strength of will to not just strangle him sometimes. Probably driven by guilt for thrusting this life onto him. Even though it's not at all as bad as he makes it out to be. He says that he makes the best out of being a half-vampire, but I really don't see that.

Good but mc is a complete dumass

A grate book series but main character is being an idiot which doesn’t make sense in this context.
