Clever and highly entertaining

I highly recommend this audiobook. I listened with my teen boys, and we had some interesting discussions about the plot and character development. We never knew what to expect next and were well entertained throughout the story.

I had fun listening to most of the stories, from furies under the bed to dreams that come alive. Some steamy single to share. A bit of the cute and some touched with a bit of dark. A story for every like. Enjoy

Mixed Genres with unique story line

Twelve people are recruited to participate in what they believe to be a reality-based TV show and are charged with solving a mystery and surviving. Some can be trusted and others not, some die, and others … well, they may wish they had once everything becomes clear. Deciphering the mystery becomes imperative for their survival.

The author, J.C. Ambrose weaves a complex story involving multiple genres: sci-fi, paranormal, romance, and mystery. Each character is well-developed and fits into the story flawlessly. Each character’s thoughts and dialogues are well-done and authentic sounding. From beginning to end the human tendencies he captures are realistic and vividly described. The plot twists and character reveals are carefully executed leaving the listener surprised at the end.

The narrator, Nina Mae Cervantes delivers a sound performance bringing the story to life. Her unique voices keep the story moving forward and keep the characters clearly identified. She speaks clearly and with a steady rhythm.

Overall, this book draws the listener into the story and keeps the listener there from the beginning to the ending. Suspense filled with rich and authentic characters.
