I loved the flow of the story although you rooted for the love connection you knew it couldn’t be.

Who know a stranger could change your world and perspective. Carter didn’t see Kennie as he called her coming and it was storm that took him by surprise

Short but Good!!

I really enjoyed this one. It had the drama it had the romance it had the darkness / danger. This was a great one!

I used to find myself skipping books that Morae Brehon narrated, but after really listening to her, I actually like her. She did an excellent job with this one. She made me believe the characters.

K.C Mills did her thing with this one. Carter and McKenna had me at chapter 1! I loved their quick felt romance. It made me check to see if there was another book. Thank Goodness there was! I jumped right into the next chapter of their lives and lit did not disappoint! Good deal with this. I definitely recommend this one and Loyal by Default.

I give this (Assassin’s Heart) series all 5 stars.

Unexpected Attraction…

McKenna Smith rudely awaken in the middle of the night by a gun man (Brooks) who escorted her to her living room to take care of an assassin’s gunshot wounds (Carter Reed). After spending 3 days of what started out as aggravation turned intimacy. McKenna realized that she did indeed like his company. As she helped him figure out who shot him by focusing on a different viewpoint, he gives her advice on how to fix things with her ex. I really enjoyed this short read, although I wasn’t expecting the ending!
