This story highlighted our very flawed criminal justice system and though fiction was spot on with the reality so many deal with, K. C. what a tragic but beautiful story... read it in one day.

Loved EVERYTHING about this book!!!

Grand was too hard on himself his son loved him so much and wanted to be just like him. Raiden was the cutest and sweetest lil boy. Grand sometimes got in his way being stubborn. I hate that part of this story rings true in how unjust the system is and how ppl can be bought. Im glad Saniya stood by him a d the found love. I hate I kept skipping this book..this is good another KC hit!!!!
