I liked seeing the changes there, but boy did it take time. The male wokf shifter was a shocker. What was up with him??? The ending has me curious and thinking about all sorts of changing dynamics in this couple relationship. Will they be adding to it??? The bond between Nate and Marcus us very intriguing, and I need more storyline and Information. I enjoyed this beginning but now I'm hungering for more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
just the start???

New-to-me author and narrator and I was very pleased with both. Also, several new storyline possibilities for me that I haven't read about before in other pnr stories. I really enjoyed all of the characters, both main and side. While I knew this was a prequel for the series I did feel that everything felt a little tight, a little superficial. It may be that depth of characters and relationships blossoms over the rest of the series. I was totally enamored with Nate and Marcus together and feel like they have a lot of potential!
So much newness to enjoy!
