Good story be mindful of cost

As you might expect from this author these are delightful stories. The narration is quite good. Like many people, I read the stories as a relaxing activity at the end of a long and busy day. These stories will certainly not disappoint if this is your goal.
I hesitated to purchase this title on audible because of the cost. Audible is charging the same price for this book as it did for many of its unabridged longer books in the series. I was fortunate enough to observe this title on sale which made the cost a bit more reasonable. For those who have the choice of reading a book in print I believe you can pick up this title much cheaper in a print source. Even though waiting for this title to go on sale meant I had to postpone reading it from its release, I think the value was much greater by waiting. I know that there is cost involved in producing an audiobook and that licensure requirements mean that and audio copy of the book is not the same as a print or electronic copy of it. However, paying the same price for an audiobook the last 2 to 3 hours as you do for one that lasts 7 to 9 hours just seems unreasonable.

Two Wonderful Short Stories

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these short stories. Not only did they hold my attention, they were engaging, entertaining, and interesting.

Good for young children

As an adult, I feel this book is quite silly although it may appeal to some tweens.

Different and Good

These were short and to the point. I liked that they were mysteries without anyone dying. I have plenty of mysteries in my life without anyone dying. Like where my favorite jewelry that I traveled with might be. That's a mystery to me! ;) Although I don't have these festive detectives to help, I'll probably just have to lose something else to find it.

Two Tall Tails

If you are looking for something that is light and a quick read with a little substance to it this is the book to read. both of the stories were fun and had the kind of endings you want when you're looking for light reading.
