The last man of a lost cause

On the jungle planet Red Eye, a lone legionnaire fights for survival. His Legion SOG team, sent here to put an end to the Lizzaar H8 trade, was abandoned by the House of Reason, and one by one his team members have been killed by the Lizzaar. Now only he, Sergeant Spike Riggs, remains.

As usual great entertainment

The quite over-obvious cliffhanger with the left over assassins and stolen ship was quite unnecessary and could have been wrapped up in this book though. Feels like milking it a bit - smells of Star Wars under Disney

new direction

Rright now I don't mind the new direction away from mostly self contained nature of the previous books. I would still like to see more.

Uncommon Valor

I’ll threw this on last night and I haven’t stopped listening… by Oba this one brought me back to the awesomeness that was the Savage Wars. I can’t recommend this one enough. I miss Ray Porter but the new narrator sucked me in and performed it very well.
