I am enjoying the books in this series. Whether one book or all, it is compelling and has left me wanting more from Donna Ball.

Held my interest

I have listened to all of Donna Ball’s Raine Stockton series twice! I love the characters and dog antics. When I learned of the Buck Lawson series spun from the Stockton series I was eager to listen. I have enjoyed The Blood River series and characters in this small town in Georgia. Donna Ball has well developed characters wrapped into an intriguing story to keep the listener wondering who-done-it. I never feel like the story drags or is so descriptive you wish the story would move along. I like A.W. Miller’s narration. He does a great job with the variety of voices, females and southern accents. That’s kudos to him because males doing female voices isn’t easy. I hope any future books in this series will continue with Miller’s narration. I would recommend the series as well the Raine Stockton series.
