Bookshop owner and maid of honor Addie Greyborne vows to catch the killer who crashed her best friend's wedding....

It promises to be Greyborne Harbor's wedding of the year. The impending nuptials of Serena Chandler and Zach Ludlow will take place aboard his family's luxurious super-yacht, currently moored in the harbor and the talk of the town. But on the day of the wedding, a man's body washes up on the beach with no ID, only a torn page from a book in his pocket. As owner of Beyond the Page Books and Curios, bibliophile Addie is called in to identify the book, but she cannot.

The morning following the extravagant ceremony, a second body washes ashore and Addie has a sinking feeling that the two deaths are connected. While the guests are held on the yacht as the police investigate, at least Addie can peruse Zach's father's rare books library on board. A copy of Agatha Christie's first Hercule Poirot novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, provides a clue that the killer may still be on the ship - but narrowing down the suspects without becoming the next victim may prove a truly Herculean task....

I must admit there was a lot of red herrings in this story to keep me guessing. "Spolier Alert" however I was very disappointed when the killer came way out of left field. It was as if the author couldn't decide who she wanted the killer to be. I was very disappointed to say the least.

truly enjoyable

Addie's best friend, Serena, is finally getting married to the love of her life. The only problem is that her future mother-in-law is taking over everything. Addie is determined that her best friend have the best wedding. When some uninvited guests are found murdered, Addie is determined to help the police so that the entire wedding party doesn't have to stay on a yacht indefinitely. The only good thing is that Serena and her new hubby were able to get out and on their honeymoon before everything got locked down.

As this series has been progressing, I have enjoyed the books more and more. I really like Addie as a character. And I love her with Simon. This was a fun version of a locked room mystery on a yacht. It added a fun twist. I am truly loving this series. I can't wait to see what's next!

Love this series!

The book is filled with great murder mystery and intrigue. New things happened opening up to reveal new interesting evidence. I do have one gripe though, that most friends, if you are not at dinner, will try and save you some food before it's gone-(not to mention saving something for your hungry boyfriend) But that's petty. The story was great and I would definitely recommend it.

Another of lowering Eliot's great murder mysteries

Lauren's Beyond the Page series is getting better and better with each story. Being captive on a yacht, what a great story for a murder mystery.
