Rivers Young was the popular, untouchable guy. He was like a star: bright, consuming, and otherworldly. The thing about stars, though, is that they eventually fall - and Rivers was no different. He fell far, and he fell hard.

Delilah Bana was the outcast enshrouded in all of life's ironies. She was alone and in the dark, like dusk as it falls on the world. When Rivers fell from the sky, she was the night that caught him. In the darkness they melded into something beautiful that shone like the sun. Only the greater the star is, the shorter its lifespan.

Epic Sad Story

I wish there was a warning letting people know this is a very sad story... love story. I kind of regret listening to it. if it's supposed to have had a happy healing factor to it... I think it failed or I just don't know way too sad maybe there's no such thing as happy ending when somebody dies

I didn’t think I would cry

I saw all the reviews and I read the spoilers and I’m not one for tears…
Yet, nothing could stop the tears. So beautiful written. Sometimes cringey and silly, but somehow so truthful for a teenage romance. It’s beautifully innocent and somehow a more mature romance story than anything I’ve read in ages. The line that made me learn what a “clip” is in audible was: “Whether people treat us right or not or deserve us or not, it is hard to let go of what we know”. What a captivating story!

Heavy-handed

When it goes from foreshadowing to overshadowing, you've done it wrong. The narrator was good though.

Too sad

The writing and performance were awesome but I couldn't finish it because it was too sad. I can't say for sure that there isn't a HEA but I can guesstimate with certainty that there isn't. I just couldn't deal. I'm returning this one.

Plot twist

Honestly the character genuinely pissed me off, but finding out what her secret was made me realized why she kinda the way she was. Pretty good read.
