Speed, surprise, and aggression... Hit on Jackpot is go.

The scourge of the Savage Lands, an ancient dragon allied to a gathering storm of dark forces threatening the world of Ruin, becomes the next target of the most fearsome shock troops ever conceived, prepared, and trained for total war: US Army Rangers.

Deep beneath a once-fantastic ruined empire, a creature more terrible, diabolical, and malevolent than any myth ever told lies atop a vast horde of wondrous treasure and deadly magic, dreaming dreams of greed and terror. The Rangers of the Ruin will thread the dangerous trap-laden depths of a deadly desolation sinking into a foul swamp in order to get their hit on the ancient prize.

But be warned, the fight you pick with Rangers is going to be the last fight you pick.

It's Rangers vs. Dragon as the saga of Forgotten Ruin continues! Audiobook also includes after-action report with authors and Ranger quality-control advisors!

Great storyline! I really enjoy how the book is written. Going back and forth from the current action, to how a step of the action was planned and developed, worked really well for those who are interested in such things! If you have listened or read the first two books in this series, you undoubtedly noticed some rambling of the main character’s narrative. This book does this a bit, but I think it fits the character’s personality well and makes it more fun to read. I also enjoyed the AAR at the end, well worth the listen to get the perspective of other Rangers that have been there and done that. Keep it up and I can’t wait to hear the next!

How to kill a Green Dragon, the Ranger way!!

I like this book but the jumping around does get annoying. I like the characters alot. I'm not a huge fan of the writing style, just a personal preference not saying it's not good.

Enjoyable

yeah so basically this book is pretty awesome!
call me a dork but after listening about the main character getting smoked daily because of a gut decision and going against direct orders, got me inspired to get me moving at the gym.
yeah it's a little wordy at times but honestly I geek out on how detailed each step in the operation breakdown went.
last thing, the after action report at the end of this book talking to real army rangers got me pretty excited. At times I had to stop and re-listen to some of their stories.
Great work guys and where's the podcast?

Ok. I’ve been through 3 Forgotten Ruin stories. And I like them. Well written well read. The plot carries the listener with a steady pace. Lots of strategy, combat, and just enough humor…actually chuckled out loud a few times.
