Fantastic addition to this queer cowboy series

I absolutely loved Mateo & Hawthorne together. This story was a great addition to the Plum Valley Cowboy Series. This book was a completely different vibe than the first book, Fool Hearts & I actually loved it more. Unfortunately, book 3 in this series doesn’t seem like it will work / click for me so I’m going to pass on Unconventional Hearts but thankfully there are more books in this series to choose from. I need to check out Emmy’s Elite 8 series. I hope that series will eventually be on audio as well. I thought Blake Lockhart did an excellent job narrating this book. It was a lot easier for me to tell which character was speaking compared to the first one. Probably because Mateo didn’t have a southern accent.

Finding home/love

I love that not only do we get more Wyatt, Easton and all of the Plum Valley. Introductions to the characters that will be the characters in the other books, but we also get our introduction to the Elite 8 series characters. Hawthorne and Mateo are definitely finding love and finding home. I love this series
