Don’t miss the conclusion to this spin-off series from Allie Therin’s acclaimed Magic in Manhattan universe!

Love redeemed them, but the past isn’t done with them yet.

England, 1925

For jaded Lord Fine—Wesley, to the friends he’s surprised he now has—falling into his lover Sebastian’s world of magic and intrigue has changed everything. But when a plot to destroy magic is linked to Wesley’s own aristocratic world, he’s determined to root it out—especially when it threatens newly vulnerable Sebastian.

Sebastian will never regret sacrificing his magic to save Wesley’s life, even if life without magic is challenging and sometimes dangerous. But now he faces the biggest danger yet: infiltrating Wesley’s viscount circles to find a villain, without magic to protect them, because Sebastian’s magic is gone forever…isn’t it?

Joined by old friends, Wesley and Sebastian follow the clues from New York’s speakeasies, across the ocean to England, and finally to a duke’s country estate. Always one step behind, they must race against time to stop those responsible and end the threat to the world, and magic, once and for all.

What an amazing ending to this series! There were a lot of twists and turns, and I can't wait to go and re-listen to see the clues that I missed the first time around.

I absolutely loved to see the character development of both Wes and Sebastian! I empathized with the struggles both of them were going through and laughed at the amazing snark and banter. It was great to have the whole cast of characters show up and interact, and while I'm sad it's over it's a very satisfying ending!

A great wrap to a fantastic story!

A fine conclusion (no pun intended). I’m sorry to see the story end. I wondered if there might be another spin-off - for Matteo maybe - but she tied up all the loose ends, so I doubt it. :-(
I’ll certainly give any other works a try though.

A fine conclusion (no pun intended)

Allie Therin has a way of writing the cutest, action-packed stories. I’ve loved every book in this series (and the one before) and the conclusion was just so heartwarming. This series will definitely be one of my top recommendations. I loved Arthur and Rory’s story, but surly Lord Fine and sweet Sebastion warm my heart to the tippy top. Thank you for this amazing series. I can’t wait to see what happens in Therin’s next book/series.
Oh and, Joel Froomkin landed yet another stellar performance. The life he brings to each character made me smile, laugh, and nearly cry.

Outstanding Ending to an Outstanding Series

Good twists and turns as usual. A tad more steam than usual (yay!). Sebastian is just a delightful character, and I admire him speaking up in defense of foxes at the Hunt Ball, even while surrounded by smirking men. Joel Froomkin narrated his accent beautifully, and I grinned at Sebastian's idioms, like when he told Wesley "You don't need to touch me with baby gloves." Wesley redeemed himself from his snobby character in earlier books, allowing his hard protected heart to heal by Sebastian's sweet, earnest nature and genuine kindness. For example, Wesley had never spent the night with a lover before, but told Sebastian that he had "...ruined me for sleeping alone, thinking about all the touch I'd be missing."
Vicounts and Villiany had many amusing moments, snarky exchanges, and tense moments like when the villians had Wesley and Sebastian at their mercy. This is my favorite book in Allie Therin's Roaring Twenties Magic series. Am looking forward to her next installment!
