In this multilayered tale, the surfaces seem clear, but the underpinnings are full of betrayals, misunderstandings, and outright murderous fraud. And Kinsey, through no fault of her own, is thoroughly compromised.

Recommendation

Always a treat to listen to a well performed,entertained book. I enjoy this author so much. The audible series with this particular interpreter of the written page is wonderful.

W is for WOW !

Took me a while to connect the dots but another great Grafton tale and I have to say Judi Kaye has a great voice and slams those snarky Kinsey lines with ease....

outdated technology, story takes place in 1988

outdated technology and setting as this series takes place in the 1980's, this book in 1988.

Slow start

This one does start slow, but stick with it. It gets better and better. Love Kinsey and the narrator is wonderful.

Not the best in the alphabet

I'm a big fan, but this book did not seem as interesting as others in collection.
